**Shower Install**
After starting the work on this shower we realized that the extent was much worse then what we could originally see. There was standing water behind this tile that was taken out.
Atlanta Grout let the home owners know that replacing the shower was strongly recommended because of the standing water and green board rotted. Our assessment -- there was a very good chance it spread up in the rest of the backing around the shower. As you see below our assessment was correct!!
The wood was also rotted and needed to be replaced.

The green board was then replaced. The was no need to redo the shower pan and the floor.
The next step is to Tile and Grout the Shower. Grouting was done the next day to let the thinset cure. Then the shower was caulked and the door frame and fixtures put back on. Customers have a brand new shower!!
